Throughout my observations of administrations concoct methods to their ranks, but this perpetual payment plan beats all. Any thinking person would ask: Why not extend such generosity to all public servants? Or better yet, to the regular people whose money pays these salaries?

The difference with other public servants remains clear as crystal. Many a police retiree still wait years for post-service compensation that wouldn’t keep a mouse in cheese.
