Intelligent Men less most likely to Have Erectile Dysfunction, Study Finds

It may appear a little practical originating from a group of highly informed researchers.

But researchers now say that geeks make much better romantic partners than any muscle-bound meathead.

In a new research study, scientists from Oakland University claim that smart men have much better relationship outcomes and are less most likely to be violent towards their partners.

And, in great news for geeks, the researchers even claim that smarter men are less likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction.

The scientists tested the intelligence of men in heterosexual relationships and after that surveyed them for a variety of different positive or unfavorable relationship characteristics.

They found that cognitive abilities which support impulse control, problem-solving, and considering repercussions all add to much healthier relationships.

On the other hand, males with lower intelligence are more prone to insulting their partners, sexual coercion, managing behaviour, and erectile dysfunction.

Most worryingly, the information suggests that males with lower general intelligence are most likely to have psychopathic propensities.

Higher levels of intelligence are connected with a series of favorable outcomes ranging from higher typical income to increased life span.

Additionally, more current research study has shown that some specific cognitive skills like problem-solving assistance partners browse potential problems within their relationships.

However, Dr Gavin Vance and his colleagues at Oakland University claim that there has been much less research into how general intelligence affects relationship outcomes.

General intelligence, unlike your academic level or specific abilities, refers to a mixed set of cognitive capabilities working memory, spatial reasoning, and quantitative thinking.

To find out more, the researchers recruited 202 guys who had been in heterosexual relationships for at least six months.

The males were assigned a series of tasks to check their analytical and abstract thinking abilities.

They were then provided surveys to determine aspects of their relationships ranging from the frequency of unfavorable behaviours to relationship investment and complete satisfaction.

These tests revealed that general intelligence was substantially connected with more positive behaviours and less negative behaviours in romantic relationships.

The study discovered that men who scored inadequately on tests for general intelligence were more likely to experience erectile dysfunction and to exhibit unfavorable behaviour towards their partner (stock image)
